My name is Jared Draney. As of 2023, I am a 23-year-old Professional

Cinematographer and Photographer.

I am not only well-rounded in media, but am also an award-winning cinematographer, having won Best Cinematography at the Controlled Chaos Film Festival in 2020, and 2021.

Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, and now living in Spartanburg, SC, I have a vast experience of living and seeing different places.

I decided to become a photographer and filmmaker when I realized my true passion was to tell stories. The feeling of making someone smile, laugh, cry, or be nostalgic with my work is what fuels me. 

I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts - majoring in Film and Television Production with a concentration in cinematography.

 I have worked for a multitude of production companies including Arken Media, Arrowhead Design Co, and AP Fuel. I also served as team photographer and cinematographer for Western Carolina University Football during my time as a student there.
